Design With Maqstone
Leo Lague + MaqstoneTime After Time

At Maqstone, design is a field of experimentation where Brazilian stone is reimagined. In Milan, at Alcova, we scaled this vision: with our proprietary MSS.1 Smoke soapstone, we shaped 15 tons into monumental pieces that place Brazilian craft on the global stage. In collaboration with designer Leo Lague, the installation TIME AFTER TIME arranges archetypal forms such as pyramids, monoliths and columns into a field of forces. The dialogue between conceptual thought and geological matter reinterprets soapstone, proposes new uses and scales, and asks what makes a form endure.
